During the Second World War Bram was a 'Chindit' (Special Forces operating behind Japenese lines). A retired chartered surveyor he is now extremely active n his local community - he served as chair of the Parish Council, he serves on the Essex Police Authority, is president of his local Royal British Legion, vice president of the district scouts and a governor of Colchester Hospital Trust.
