The face the Story

Peter Taylor

Peter is a retired Colonel having served in the Queen’s Royal Regiment and then the Parachute Regiment for 25 years. He saw active service during World War Two and was awarded the Military Cross on two separate occasions. Both citations report of the then, Major Taylor’s display of great courage and initiative in leading attacks on enemy positions whilst under heavy fire.

Peter describes the happiest moments in his life as the arrival of his three sons. When asked about his proudest achievements he simply replies,

“My two Military Crosses I suppose.”
